Smith, 86, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2009, at St. Matthews Lutheran Church with interment in the church cemetery. The service will be conducted by Rev. Elford Roof. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 8, 2009, at Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 1273 Calks Ferry Road, Lexington, SC 29072. Mrs. Smith was born April 6, 1923, in Lexington, SC, and passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009. She was a daughter of the late Jessie Keisler and Emma Keisler. Mrs. Smith is survived by her children, Beverly Smith, Lynn Reeves, Sherry (Wyatt) Eargle, Russell Smith and Hugh Smith; grandchildren, Kayla, Natalie and Blake Reeves, Megan and Sarah Eargle; sister, Dorothy Smith; and brother, Everette Keisler. She was predeceased by her husband, Harvey E. Smith.
