Following a protracted illness of more than fourteen years duration, Simon John Zlomke, aged 38, son of Mrs. and Mrs. Bernhard Zlomke, passed away at the home of his parents, four miles southeast of this city (Grand Island) at 4 a.m. Monday (June 16, 1924). Mr. Zlomke was born October 25, 1885, in Merrick county, where he has always resided. Besides the bereaved parents, he is survived by five brothers and eight sisters. Two brothers preceded him in death.
