I am told that Edward Calvin "Ted" Duncan suffered with cataracts. It was said that one of his neighbors had their eyes operated on and had bled to death, so "Ted" was afraid that this would happen to him and would not risk having any surgery on his eyes. It is told that he was blind or nearly blind the last 15 years of his life. (Source: my cousin Phyllis Waddell)
Ted was a brother of my great-grandmother, Florida R. Duncan Frazee Ferguson of Galloway, Franklin County, Ohio. Florida is buried at Union Cemetery in the heart of Columbus, Ohio.
