Richard was a lifelong Kansas City, KS, resident. He served in the Navy during the Korean War. Richard worked for TWA for 31 years, retiring in 1995. He was a member of I.A.M #1650, and was past president of the Metropolitan Sports Association. Survivors include his wife Agnes Moore, of the home; three sons, Kenneth Moore, Micheal Moore and Edward Moore; daughter Tina Thornton; two brothers, Bill Moore and Charles Moore; three sisters Louise Pearson, Wanda Hamilton and Lorna Lawson; and six granddaughters.
