Danny J. Williams

Age 34, of Prestonsburg, died Sunday, May 14, 2000, at his residence. Born on December 29, 1965, at Allegan, Michigan, he was the son of Shermie and Jean Patrick Williams of Corn Fork, near Prestonsburg. He was a United States Marine Corps Veteran, attended the Rising Son Ministries, and was employed by Branham and Baker Coal Company as a coal analyst. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Hooker Williams. Other survivors include two sons, Daniel Raines and Jordan Williams; one daughter, Kristin Raines, all at home; two brothers, Rex Williams and Robert Williams, both of Lexington, and one sister, Kim Goble of Prestonsburg. Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, May 16, at 11 a.m., at the Floyd Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Danny P Curry and Rev. J. M. Sloce officiating. Burial was in the Williams Cemetery, at Royalton, under the direction of the Floyd Funeral Home. Serving as pallbearers were Aaron Hackworth, Kenny Bentley, Rick Bentley, Bob Goble, Courtney Miller and Estill Collins.
