Daniel L. Gassert, 48, of Kissimmee, Fla., died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2011, at his home.
He was born Aug. 1, 1962, in Kissimmee, Fla., the son of Delbert C. and Janice E. Claytor Gassert. He was the maintenance supervisor for the last 28 years at the Sherwin-Williams Orlando Plant.
He is survived by his wife, Melanie Dawn Adkins Gassert; two sons, Douglas L. Gassert of St. Cloud, Fla., and Dustin L. Gassert of Kissimmee, Fla.; his parents, formerly of Madison; one sister, Debra L. Moore of Helena, Mont.; one brother, Darrell L. Gassert of Kissimmee, Fla.; three grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life was at the City of Life Church in Kissimmee, Fla. Burial was in Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Daniel is also survived by a sister, Debra L. Moore of Helena, Montana;

brother-in-laws; Mark D. husband of Rosemarie Adkins of St. Cloud, FL;
Michael D. husband of Cindy Adkins of Valrico, FL;

mother-inlaw; Christine M. Adkins of Winter Haven, FL;
grandchildren; Dulce Lynn Gassert of St. Cloud, FL, Ava Rose Gassert and Draden Lee Gassert both of Kissimmee, FL; as well as numerous nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews and aunts and uncles and 3 God sons.

A celebration of Daniels life will be held on Saturday January 8th beginning at City of Life Church in Kissimmee with Dr. Gary Smith, Pastor Steve Rymer and Pastor Gregory Grigsby officiating.
Interment will follow in Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday January 7th at the First Baptist Church of St. Cloud.
Danny lived every day of his life to the glory of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His faith was unchanging in every circumstance. He is enjoying his reward in Heaven as he prepares for his loved ones to join him for all eternity.
