Arley R. Bough of Brentwood died of a heart attack Monday at Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital. He was 73.

Mr. Bough was a native of Stockton, Mo., and had lived in Monterey for 29 years before moving to Brentwood 20 years ago. He was a retired foreman for the Martin-Murietta Sand Co. in Byron and a member of the Model “A” Ford Club of America.

Mr. Bough is survived by his daughter, Joyce Jacobs of Brentwood and Wanda Moore of Sharpsburg, Ga.; his sons, Larry Bough of Oakley Roger Bough of Sacramento and Kenneth Bough of Salina; his brother, Fred Bough of Stockton, Mo.; his sister Georgia Kaufman and Julia Adams both of El Dorado Springs, Mo.; and Juanita Showman of Independence Mo.; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandson.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Brentwood Funeral Home. 839 First St. Brentwood Burial will follow at Union Cemetery in Brentwood.
