Mrs. Minnie Darter, 77, 1414 S. Shipley St., died this morning at her home after an extended illness. She was born in Randolph County, but was a resident of Muncie most of her life.
Mrs. Darter's husband, Hiram, died in 1953.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Martha Miller, Mrs. Bessie Riddleberger, Mrs. Esther Clark, and Mrs. Florence Mauck, all of Muncie, Mrs. Mabel Hubbard of Mesa, Ariz.; one son, Guy Williams of Springport, Mich.; 13 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Darter is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Ocie Terrell of Muncie, and Mrs. Fred Kern of Mesa, Ariz.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by Parson Mortuary.
