BAXTER – Funeral services for Oscar Finley Harville, 84, of Baxter will be held Wednesday, October 19, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Baxter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery.
Mr. Harville died Sunday, October 16, 1994, in Masters Health Care Center.
Born October 23, 1909, in Putnam County, he was the son of the late Elzie and Carrie Dyer Harville.
He was employed by W. T. Sewell Co. in Baxter as a warehouse stocker.
His family includes one son, Ralph Harville of Baxter; three daughters, Rita Sue Gentry of NC and Lorrell McLeod and Lois Leger, both of Valrico, FL; one brother, Elzie Jr. Harville of Baxter; two sisters, Cora Bryant of Cookeville and Ruby Reed of Nashville; seven grandchildren, four stepgrandchilden, four greatgrandchildren, and one step greatgrandchild.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Harville was preceded in death by his wife, Leara B. Bryant Harville.
