The Service of Remembrance for Mr. Frank Joseph Terrano, 93, of Hernando, Florida, will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, December 10, 2010, at the Inverness Chapel of Hooper Funeral Homes. Interment will follow at Hills of Rest Cemetery, Floral City, Florida. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Inverness Chapel. Mr. Terrano was born December 23, 1916, in Corona, NY, son of the late Joseph and Mary (Breslin) Terrano. He died December 6, 2010, in Inverness, FL. He worked as a dairy farmer and moved to Hernando, Florida, from Port Republic, VA, in 1994. His hobbies included woodworking and watching boxing on TV. His focal point was his family. Mr. Terrano was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Inverness.
Mr. Terrano was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Elizabeth Terrano, a brother, Edward Terrano, and a sister, Annette Ferrara. Survivors include 2 sons, Joseph Bertram Terrano and Neil Terrano and wife, Jean, all of Hernando, FL; brother, Joseph Terrano of Commack, Long Island, NY; sister, Catherine Ferri of Smithtown, NY; and 2 grandsons, Joseph and Thomas Terrano.
