Funeral services for Joseph Monroe Aaron, who died Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at his home in Murchison, were held at the grave in the Red Hill Cemetery Wednesday afternoon at 3 o'clock.
A retired farmer, he was born December in Mississippi in 1866 and had resided in Murchison for the last five years.
Survivors are his wife; three sons, Monroe and Oscar Aaron of the Pine Grove community and Jesse Aaron of Murchison; one daughter, Mrs. Allie Hopkins of Murchison; eighteen grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Viola Brady of Paducah.
The Carroll and Lehr Funeral Home of Athens was in charge of arrangements.
