She was born Sept. 18, 1907, in Smith County to the late James Bridges and Frances Gwaltney Hall.
Mrs. Maxwell was a homemaker and a member of the Baxter First United Methodist Church.
Her family includes three daughters and sonsinlaw, Ruth and Otis Keisler of Baxter, Carole and Kendall Lynch of Nashville, and Judy and Jimmie Benson of Cummings, GA; three sons and daughtersinlaw, Dan and Betty Maxwell of Baxter, Bob and Onelie Maxwell of Cookeville and Larry and Barbara Maxwell of La Vergne; one sisterinlaw, Hannah Hall of Baxter; and 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Pennock Maxwell; and one daughter, June Maxwell.
