Daughter of Francis and Irene (DeLong) Blood. Granddaughter of Aaron and Esther (Perry)
Francis Blood was a skilled carpenter and builder. He married Irene DE LONG in 1836 in Michigan. Their children were: Lurana Blood (1837-1907, married William M. PITNEY, no known issue); Polly Blood (circa 1840-1862, married Smith W. BOWERS, two children), Julia Blood (1841-1916, married James MC CARTNEY, four children), Jane Blood (1842-1872, married Samuel B. McCartney, three children;) and Harriet Blood (1844-1877).
