Homer E. Hazlitt was born at Darlington, WIs., July 31, 1893 and died suddenly of heart trouble in Milwaukee October t, 99 at the age of 26 years.
Deceased attended school in Darlington and Beloit and came to this city with his parents twelve years ago and resided here until his death. He chose railroad work for his vocation and has been a steady employee of the C.M. and St. Paul Railroad Company for the past eleven years. He was one of the youngest that qualified for R.R. Engineer about a year ago.
His kind and loving disposition won for him many friends which was shown by the beautiful floral tributes sent by old schoolmates, friends and Brotherhood of Locomotive F and E., of which he was a member.
Deceased ha been in poor health for some time but his sudden death was a great s hock to his parents, relatives and friends. The remains were brought to the home of his parents here on Tuesday and the funeral held from that place Thursday afternoon at 2o'clock, by Rev. John Birrell officiating. The body was laid to rest in the family lot in Graceland. He leaves to mourn their loss his parents and one brother and many friends and relatives. w/CARD OF THANKS,...
