T Needham-Apoplexy is immediate cause of aged death (Special daily news) Pilot Mountain, Aug. 9 Needham age 68 years died at his home here on Depot street in the early hours of Wednesday morning. He had been in declining health for some months but his condition was not considered serious until Tuesday noon when he suffered a stroke of apoplexy. He is survived by his wife and six sons Edgar, Meggs, Charlie, Claude, Ester and Carl Needham all of this place; three daughters Misses Nonnie, May and Myrtle Needham. He was a nephew of Grandfather Billy Needham a pioneer Methodist preacher of this community funeral services will be conducted from the Baptist church Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. Wellman of Mt Airy and Rev Swanson of this place. Interment will be in Mt. View Cemetery.
