William ‘Bill' Crescione

A memorial service with military honors will be held at 10 a.m. on Jan. 15 at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Eugene, for William "Bill" Crescione of Eugene, who died Dec. 10 of complications from Alzheimer's disease. He was 78.

He was born in Chicago to Nunzio and Epfania Brusca Crescione on Dec. 15, 1931. He married Marilee Potter on Feb. 15, 1958, in Los Angeles.

He graduated from high school and auto body trade school. He served in the Army in the Korean War as a machine gun squad leader. He worked at Crescione & Sons wood craft business and as an autobody repairman.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Maureen Clark of Eugene; two brothers, Joe Crescione of Woodland, Calif., and Robert Crescione of Benicia, Calif.; a sister, Nicolle Attias of Lakewood Calif.; three grand­children and two great-grand­children.
