Marianiana,called Mary Ann by her family would have grown up in the Guadagnolo Family that are pictured in the photo to the right in her obituary on her Memorial Page..

Mary Ann was born to Michael and Frances DeCicco Guadagnolo, the fifth child of twelve. Her parents and three brothers were born in Italy Her father came to the United States in 1907 and returned to bring her mother and 2 brothers to America in 1910.

The first born brother Frank died in Italy and the third brother was named Frank in memory of him.

Michael and France settled in Glasco, N.Y. and farmed and lived there for approxamantly 19 years. ---These were hard year and the children tell the story of how hungery they were at times. The livelihood of farming there was not favorable and the crops failed.

Mary Ann's older brothers moved to Larchmont,N.Y and sent home provisions for the family.---They eventually moved to Larchmont in 1929 when a younger brother John Anthony was about 5 years old. They lived in Larchmont for 41 years and lived at 82 Murrey Avenue for 36 of those 41 years. Son, Frank had a home built next door to his father.

Mary Ann was only about one year old at her death. Her grave site has been found so maybe someday we can visit her gravesite.
