Miguel Curiel, 29, of Anahuac, died Thursday, April 13, 2006 at the Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston. He was a longtime resident of Anahuac, graduate of Anahuac High School in 1996 and attended Lee College, where he received a degree in Technical Processing. He worked as a Process Technician with Dow Chemicals in Freeport for the last 6 years and enjoyed his children and playing and watching soccer. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at the Our Lady of Light Catholic Church in Anahuac with burial to follow at the Anahuac Cemetery. He is survived by: Wife: April Curiel of Anahuac; Sons: Miguel Curiel of Anahuac and Marcos Curiel of Anahuac; Parents: Angel and Raquel Curiel of Anahuac; Sister: Susanna DeLaCruz of Anahuac; Brother Luis Curiel of Anahuac and Grandfathers: Rafel Curiel of Mexico and Luis Garcia of Mexico. Pallbearers will be: Angel Curiel, Luis Chavez, Guillermo Garcia, Joe Lofton, Albert Lofton, Victor DeLaCruz and Ernie Serrata. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Michael Connor, Stacy Levias, Mike Shields and Chris Hernandez.
