Patricia J. Harsha 1940-2011
BLOOMINGTON — Patricia J. Harsha, 70, of Bloomington, formerly of Streator, died at 7:22 a.m. Monday, Jan. 10, at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, at Carmody-Flynn Williamsburg Funeral Home, Bloomington, with Monsignor Douglas Hennessy officiating. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 13, at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the Community Cancer Center.
She was born May 8, 1940, in Chicago, the daughter of Lloyd and Marjey Baker Gelsthorpe. She married Dennis Harsha on July 31, 1987, in Camdenton, Mo. He survives.
Also surviving are a daughter, Deana (Carey) Snedden, Bloomington; two grandchildren, Krista and Brandon Shepherd; three stepgrandchildren, Jon, Matt and Lucas Snedden; one sister, Marjey (Duane) Smith, Streator; one brother, Dale (Joyce) Gelsthorpe, Streator; and nine nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Jack Gelsthorpe.
Patricia was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Bloomington. She retired from Eureka Williams Company, Bloomington. She enjoyed camping and boating at Clinton Lake and "cruising" the seven seas with her friends.
