Dallas City, Ill., Oct. 9. -- Mrs. D. L. Dickson died in this city about 9 o'clock last evening, at the home of her son Fred. She was over 80 years old, and had been very poorly the last few months, and made her home with her son the latter part of her life.

Mrs. Dickson was born at Allison Prairie, Lawrence county Illinois, in 1835, being the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth Adams. She was twice married, first to Jackson La Mont, and then to Mr. Dickson in 1867.

Two children were born of the second marriage, Jetty and Fred, Jetty dying in 1879. After her marriage to Mr. Dickson, she lived near La Harpe, and later in the vicinity of Dallas City. Mr. Dickson died some 18 years ago, and since then, Mrs. Dickson had been keeping house up until about a year ago.

She is survived by her only son Fred, and family together with many friends.

The funeral was held from Fred Dickson's home today at 1 o'clock, conducted by Elder C. L. McRun of Red Oak Iowa. Interment in Derley cemetery at Durham Missouri.
