HARRINGTON RITES TODAY
Services will be at 2 p.m. today in Merkley-Mitchell Mortuary for Stephen G. Harrington, 94, of 213 El Cajon Blvd., El Cajon, a 52 year resident and retired Streetcar Conductor. He died Friday in a hospital.
Harrington was born in Farmington, Minn. He operated a streetcar here 24 years, retiring in 1944 with advent of buses.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Marion Pyle and Mrs. Vera Miller, both of San Diego; three sons, including Warren, of La Jolla, and Leslie, of Spring Valley; 13 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
