Samuel F. Lopresti Sr. age 85 years of Williamstown died Tuesday January 11, 2011 in his home. Mr. Lopresti was born and raised in Glassboro and lived in Williamstown for 57 years. He was a veteran serving in the United States Navy and he retired after 22 years of service as a Chemical Operator with DuPont Repauno Works, Gibbstown. He was an over seventy year member of St. Anthony's Society, Glassboro. Mr. Lopresti enjoyed raising produce and flowers on his farm. He is survived by his beloved wife, Florence "Floss" Lopresti (nee Centofanti) of Williamstown; his daughters, Maureen and David Riggins of Williamstown, Leslie Lopresti of Pitman, Dolores Lopresti of Williamstown, Irene and Ray Kretz of Williamstown, Irma Vanlier of Winter Springs, FL, Elaine and Dominick Paino of Williamstown; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; his brother, Joseph and Ella Lopresti of Chesapeake, Virginia; his sister, Mary and Anthony Formica of Glassboro and 10 nieces and nephews. Mr. Lopresti was predeceased by his son, Samuel Lopresti Jr.; his son in law, Walter A. Vanlier; his brothers, Andy and Frank Lopresti and his sister, Josephine Lopresti. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM Monday January 17, 2011 in the McBride - Foley Funeral Home, 228 W. Broad St., Paulsboro. Friends may call Monday morning after 10 AM until service time.
