Born at 303 High Street, Crawfordsville, Indiana, to Louis W. Schaller and Dora Stonebreaker Harris Schaller. Raised in Attica, Indiana, married Jeneva Lorene Pruitt in 1945. Moved to Phoenix, Arizona in 1952. A mechanical engineer of surpassing ability, and a railroad enthusiast. Also loved motorsports. Preceded in death by his parents, and his son Scotty. Survived by wife Jeneva Lorene Pruitt, son Robert Louis, daughters Ruth Ellen and Kristina Elizabeth, 7 grandchildren, & 6 great-grandchildren.
