JOHN NEIDIGH
Well known and highly respected resident of the State College vicinity, died at his home near that town at 9 o’clock on Tuesday morning, following a lingering illness with a complication of diseases. He was aged 84 years. He was a native of Centre county, having been born in Ferguson township, a son of Jacob and Catherine Neidigh. Surviving in addition to his wife, the former Sarah Ann Custaborder, to whom he was united in marriage sixty-four years ago, and who is now 83 years of age, are the following sons and daughters: Newton, Jacob C., Mrs. Ann Garner, Mrs. C.W. Fishburn and Mrs. John Hoy, all of State College; Mrs. John Lytle and John C. Neidigh, both of Juniata, and Mrs. Curtis Cronemiller of Patton. Surviving also are two sisters, Mrs. Bell Bisbrow and Mrs. Ida Holcomb, both residing in Michigan. Funeral services will be held at 2.30 o’clock on Friday afternoon from the home near State College, Rev. Wilbur W. Moyer of Boalsburg officiating. Interment will be made in the Pine Hall cemetery. The deceased was a member of the Reformed church and for many years conducted a farm, retiring some time ago when his health failed.
