Me married Rachel Dinsmore on July 6, 1837 in Vermillion County, Indiana. They were the parents of Adam, Samuel, Henry C. and Sarah A. He was a carpenter and a joiner.

John Pearman, an old and respected citizen of Highland, died last Saturday. He had gone to Dan Norman's, north of Montezuma, a few days before to do some carpentry work, and while there he took very sick. His friends went after him on Saturday to move him home. They started with him and he died on the road.
