Rick worked for the U S Postal Service for about 25 years before going on disability retirement due to his health. He had LUPUS which is an immune deficincy. He suffered from several other problem and died from heart failure. He raised his only child, Summer, by himself from the time she was 6 to present time and she is now 20. He did a wonderful job of caring for her.
