Anna Frances Pearre, 78, of New Bloomfield, died Thursday, March 6, 2008 at University Hospital in Columbia. Anna was born April 14, 1929 in Guthrie, the daughter of the late Grover and Nannie (Emmons) Bell. On August 14, 1949, she married Almon G. Pearre in New Bloomfield and he survies at their home.

She graduated from New Bloomfield High School in 1947. Anna was a Charter Member of the Slusher Extension Club, member of XYZ Club of New Bloomfield, Holts Summit Senior Citizens, Capital City Shriners Auxiliary, Callaway County Democratic Womens Club, a Charter Member of the New Bloomfield Historical Club and a Member of the Meadow Lake Country Club.

She was an active member of Union Hill Babtist Church and the Joy Sunday School Class. She enjoyed playing cards and dominoes with many friends.

She is survived by her husband, two daughters, Pamela (David) King of Marshall and Cynthia (Wesley) Walker of New Bloomfield. one brother, John "Buddy" (Faye) Bell of Columbia, seven grandchildren, Cory Walker of New Bloomfield, Amy Walker and her fiance' John Kitchens of Jefferson City, Ryan (Kristi) Harper of Odessa, Jill (Ryan) Aholt of Columbia and Lacie, Tannah and Jenna King of Marshall, five great-grandchildren, Clay and Gracie Walker of New Bloomfield, Cole and Jack Harper of Odessa and Aeden McCracken of Marshall.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 10, at Union Hill Babtist Church with Brother Frank Witney officiating. Burial will follow at Callaway Memorial Gardens. Family will recieve friends on Sunday afternoon 3-7pm and one hour before services begin on Monday at the church.

Memorial contributions are suggested to Union Hill Babtist Church Building Fund or to Shriners Hospital.

Arrangements were under the direction of Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit.
