Monroe W. Liverett

DECATUR -- The funeral for Monroe William Liverett, 78, Busby Road, was at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 17, at Austinville Church of God, Decatur, with the Revs. Dan Masters and Harold Coomer officiating. Burial was in Roselawn Gardens of Memory, Decatur, Shelton's Funeral Home, Decatur, directed.

He was a member of Community South Church of God, Decatur, a distributor for J.R. Watkins Products for 35 years and was born in Anderson. He was the son of the late William Walker Liverett and Martha Mary "Molly" Liverett.

Survivors include his wife, Elna McConnell Liverett, Decatur; sons, Edwin Liverett, Decatur, David Liverett, Anderson, Ind.; daughter, Aldeana Simmons, Valparoiso, Ind.; brother, Henry Liverett, Florence; sister, Addie Cox, Florence; three grandchildren.

Bearers were nephews.
