Mr. Harold Lloyd Gordon Sr., 80, passed away Saturday, Sept. 1, 2007, at the Key West Convalescent Center following a lengthy illness. Mr. Gordon was a native of Louisville, Ky., and the son of the late William B. and Lena Downing Gordon. He had lived the past 59 years in Key West, where he operated his dog-grooming business, Gordon's Poodle Grooming. Mr. Gordon was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a member of Key West Baptist Temple on Stock Island. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda Gordon, in 1963.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Gordon, and son, Lloyd Gordon, both of Key West. Private services and burial were held at the Key West City Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Hospice of Southeast Florida. Dean-Lopez Funeral Home in Key West was in charge of arrangements.
