FLORENCE LEE
---Mrs. Florence Lee, wife of John F. Lee of La Plata, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Otho Barnett, in Kirksville Monday evening. Her death was the result of a stroke which she suffered Wednesday morning at the Barnett home where she was spending a few days.
---Funeral services were held at the Community Presbyterian Church here Wednesday afternoon at 2:00, conducted by Rev. Fred L. Hudson. Burial was in the La Plata cemetery.
---Mrs. Lee was sixty-one years of age. She was born July 12, 1881, the daughter of David Eli and Polly Chadwick, in Macon County.
---In 1901 she was married to Herbert Baity who preceded her in death. One daughter was born to this marriage, Maurita, now Mrs. Otho Barnett.
---She was married in 1928 to John F. Lee who survives. She also leaves two sisters, Mrs. Anna Tate and Mrs. Viola Rine, both of La Plata. A sister, Mrs. Ida Garlock preceded her in death. She also leaves two granddaughters, Jane Louise and Mary Flo Barnett.
---Mrs. Lee had lived practically all her life in La Plata.
