A well known hostess, Harriet was the Second President of the Los Angeles
Women’s Breakfast Club and Chairman of the Civil Service of Los Angeles.
She also served as Chair of the Women’s State Democratic Committee. A
minister of spiritual science, Harriet ran her own church and hosted a radio
program. She was married to George Sunday, son of famed evangelist Billy
Sunday. Her son John was killed in an automobile accident and rests next to
