Steiger, devoted father of Bernice and Billie Steiger and Mrs. Myrtle Mathewson and the late Russell Steiger, and loving son of Edward and the late Lucia Steiger, a native of Sonoma County, Calif., aged 56 years. A member of the San Francisco Aerie No.5, F. O. E.
According to his WWI Draft Card of Sept 1916, he worked for the Matson Navigation Co. as a stevedore. He also owned the service station and cottages on the main road from Schellville to the Sonoma "Y".
He married Helen Harman on 7 Jul 1895 in Santa Rosa, Elizabeth E. Rochette on 30 Jul 1904 at City Hall in San Francisco, and Marie Ingle on 29 May 1913 in San Francisco.
