Mr. Alvin "Al" C. Bean, 70, of RD 1 Box 68 (Garland) Spring Creek, Pa., passed away at 1:05 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2007 at Warren General Hospital, Warren, Pa.

Mr. Bean was born on July 4, 1937, the son of the late Clemmer and Ruth (Fiscus) Bean. He was retired from McGinnis Steel Company in Corry in 1999. Al enjoyed auto mechanics, cutting wood,camping, and going to auctions. He was the husband of Mildred (Eastman) Bean,whom he married Aug. 30,1968, who survives. Also surviving are daughters, Tina M.Glasgow of Garland, Lois VanOrd of Fla., and Rose Kemery of Spring Creek; a son, Alvin Keith Bean of Jamestown, N.Y.; stepsons, Mark D. Cox of Erie and Brian N. Cox of Pittsfield; sisters, Jackie Carlson of Jamestown, N.Y., Janet Barnes of Youngsville, Dede (Chuck) Gern of Clarendon, Debra (Victor)Savitz of Pittsfield, Pam (Dan)Kennedy of Grand Valley; brothers, Paul (Kathy) Bean of Spring Creek, Bruce (Toni) Bean of Spring Creek, Jeffrey Bean of Spring Creek, Dallas Bean of Centerville, Doyle (Sheila) Bean of Pittsfield, Dayle Bean of Pittsfield, John (Nancy) Bean of Pittsfield, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Clarice Conklin.

Friends are invited to call from 6-9 p.m., Friday, Nov. 30 at McKinney Funeral Homes and Cremation Services, Inc., in Youngsville and also from 10-11 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home where a funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 1, with Rev. Leonard Eastman officiating.
