Obituary - Arthur C. Clary, 80, a resident of Fredonia, died Friday, Dec. 21, (1984) at St. Margaret's Mercy Hospital where he was a patient.
 He was born Sept. 2, 1904, in Wilson County to John W. and Cora (Ostrander) Clary. He was a retired farmer and banker. On Dec. 21, 1922, he married Mary T. Smith at Nowata, Okla.
 He was a member of the First Christian Church of Fredonia and served on the board of directors of the First National Bank.
 He is survived by his wife, Mary, of the home; one daughter, Mrs. Mary Ambrose, rural Fredonia; one sister, Elsie Nickel, Fredonia; eight grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. One son, Bud Clary, preceded him in death.
 Funeral services were held today at 2 p.m. at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Carl Heien officiating. Burial was in the Fredonia City Cemetery under the direction of the Timmons Funeral Home.
