Father O'Sullivan was ordained in Ireland, June 21, 1931. Upon coming to Alabama, he served at Our Lady of Sorrows, Birmingham; Apalachicola, Florida; St. Augustines, Birmingham, and in 1945 was sent to Pratt City as Pastor of St. Catherine of Siena. He remained at St. Catherine's until his death in a tragic automobile accident, August 22, 1950 in Virginia. Father O'Sullivan was buried at Elmwood Cemetery.
