I found Children listed in THE PICAWAY BAPTIST CHURCH RECORDS
They had 5 sons:John,Joseph,Peter,Richard and Benjamin
They had 4 Daughters:Grace,Rosannah,Providence and Sarah

His fathers will Listed 8 children:
Peter named his wife, Providence, and eight children in his will written in 1750 and prove 3 November 1755:
Son John deceased before 1750)
(1) Joseph,
(2) Peter,
(3) Richard,
(4) Benjamin,
(5) Ann Layton,
(6) Grace Cooper,
(7) Rosannah Davidson, and
(8) Providence Bowman.

Note: John came to Rockingham Co., Va before 1735 & settled at Tunnis, near an Indian tribe where Anna lived. He was not mentioned in his father's will made in 1750 & probated 1755. There is a small stone carved with 1747(Some have dateas 1797) for his death date, near the Brock's Gap Church on Runion Creek.

Little is known of John except that he was born 8/15/1705 in Piscataway, New Jersey. Some researchers list him as "John Sr." who moved to Rockingham County, VA before 1753 and became an active member of the Linville Baptist Church, and served as Deacon at the church on several occasions

This John is not married to Anna Goodpasture,I had it wrong His son John Jr is married to Anna Goodpasture
