Anne Gleason's parents are unknown. She married William Redmond about 1849. Their children were: Mary, John, Thomas, Margaret and William.
There is no stone marking Anna's grave, but a record of her burial is at the church.
The fatalities of the Delaney family, near Bendena, have been something frightful. The father, John Delaney, died of pneumonia. The mother died a week later of the same disease. Mrs [Anna Gleason] Redmond, a sister-in law, who waited on them, returned to her home near Wathena and died of the same disease. Daniel Delaney the oldest son and John, a son from Colorado, were taken down at their father's home and both died last Thursday. Edward, a son from Nebraska, was taken sick but managed to return home. Miss (Maggie) Redmond, a niece, is lying very low at the Delaney home. (From the weekly Kansas Chief, January 7, 1892)
