Memorial services for Fredrick "Freddie" William Lindeman, 73, of Peoria, Ariz., will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 1, 2010, at Kress United Methodist Church with his nephew, Chaplain Mark Spain of Canyon Lake, Texas, officiating.

Mr. Lindeman died Sept. 9, 2010, at his home.

He was born Aug. 29, 1937, in Plainview to Henry and Jewell Lindeman. The Lindeman family moved to Kress in 1940 where Fred attended school, graduating in 1955. After graduating from airline school, he was employed by Scandinavian Airlines where he retired as a station manager after 30 years of service.

After retiring, he worked in the field of property management.

He was a member of Kress United Methodist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are a daughter, Pamela; his soul mate, Inga Arnadottie of Peoria; sisters, Sally Phillips VanGilder of Lubbock and Alvena Spain of Ocean Springs, Miss., and a brother, Homer Lindeman of Friona.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Jewell Lindeman; a sister, Rhoda Lindeman; and a son, David Lindeman.

The family suggests memorials be made to Kress United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 302, Kress, TX 79052; or the Mu Lambda Sorority, Kress Cemetery Fund, c/o Kress National Bank, P.O. Box 660, Kress, TX 79052.
