OAK GROVE - Funeral services for Alden Grey McDonald, 76, will be held Saturday, March 3, at 1 p.m. in Madison Funeral Home with burial in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
Mr. McDonald died Thursday (March 1, 1990) at Sumner County
Memorial Hospital.
A native of Putnam County, he was the son of the late Maurice and Beulah McDonald.
His family includes two daughters, Thelma Smith of Oak Grove and Robin Hunt of Old Hickory; one son,
Alden P. McDonald of Hendersonville; four sisters, Dimple Miller of Goodlettsville, Mrs. Dean Burrum of Nashville, Anna Rose Warren of Mt. Juliet and Mrs. Noel Merritt of Lebanon; four brothers, Roy, James and William McDonald, all of Nashville, and Tom McDonald of Chattanooga;
eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Roy, James, William and Tom McDonald and Larry and Robert Neal. Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Hunt and John Lusk of Monterey.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Mcdonald; sister, Mary Frances Lusk; and one grandson, Michael David Hunt.
Rev. Jack Goodwin will officiate at the services.
