WILCOX, Timothy P., 44, passed away Monday November 22, 2010 at his home, surrounded by his loving family.


He was born in Louisville, KY to Norman & Mary (Murphy) Wilcox.


Timothy was an award winning Photographer for Winston Cup Illustrated Magazine and most recently was an Automotive Technician for Rocky's Auto Sales.


He was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church.


His highest acheivement as a photographer was the Howard O'Reilly Memorial Award for outstanding Stock Car Photography.


He was preceded in death by his Father and Grandparents: Lonnie & Hazel Murphy & Clarence and Lucille Wilcox.


Survivors include his wife of 18 years: Carol (Broyles) Wilcox; a Son: Cameron Wilcox; his Mother: Mary Wilcox; 2 Brothers: Todd (Kathy) and Tommy (Geri) Wilcox; nieces: Hayley Wilcox & Rachel Jones; nephew: Tyler Wilcox and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and countless friends.


Also surviving, his precious "Marcie" who comforted & protected him, till the end...


Funeral Service will be 11:00 AM Saturday at Bethany United Methodist Church, 6100 Moorman Rd, with burial in Bethany Cemetery.


Visitation will be Friday 2 - 8 PM at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy. Expressions of Sympathy: A.L.S. Association for research of this disease that continues to impact lives everyday.
