Homer Rhome, 47, of Minerva, Ohio, died at 3:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 27, in a hospital near Canton, Ohio. He had been ill for several weeks.

A son of Harry Rhome and the late Matilda Rhome, the deceased was born in Greene County, where he resided most of his life. He never married.

Surviving in addition to his father are the following brothers and sisters: James Rhome of Moundsville, W. Va.; Walter Rhome of Homeworth, Ohio; Frank Rhome of Minerva; Charles Rhome of Salem, Ohio; Mrs. Ora Cross of Minerva; Mrs. Sarah Morris of Holbrook; Mrs. Pearl Smith of Garrison, and Mrs. Merle Park of Garrison.
