Lulu is the daughter of T W Seward and Mary Ellen Crow Seward. She was born in Virginia, but moved to Baltimore with her family at a very young age. She married Wesley French and had several children. On early census records before marrying Wesley, Lulu B. is seen only as Ella B. on the 1870 and 1880 Census. I am not sure why she was Ella and then wanted to be called Lulu.
