Regine Gräber was the wife of Johann/John Behnke. They had several children in Freiwalde, West Prussia (near the village of Kriefkohl). She emigrated (a widow?) from the village of Kriefkohl, West Prussia, Germany on the ship EIDER with her son Carl and his family, arriving at Castle Garden in New York on November 25, 1890. Settling on the German North Side of Syracuse, New York, she lived near friends and neighbors from the Old Country, first on Steuben Street with her son John, then at 520 North Clinton Street, finally on Pond Lane with her daughter Anne Golminski and her family. Cause of death was arterio-sclerosis.
