Orville Brenner was the son of Solomon and Clara (Peck) Brenner. His parents and only sibling, Olive, are buried in Elkhart, Indiana.

Orville Brenner, 50, formerly of Elkhart, died at his home in Jeffersonville, Ind., Thursday evening from cancer of the mouth, from which he had been suffering for a year. Funeral services will be held at Jeffersonville tomorrow afternoon.
Mr. Brenner worked in Elkhart for a time as a Big Four employee, and about 20 years ago he moved with his family to Jeffersonville, where he entered government service.
He is survived by his wife, his mother, Mrs. Clara Brenner, and a sister, Miss Alice (Olive) Brenner, all of Jeffersonville.
He had no relatives living here and news of his death was received in a letter from Mrs. Brenner to Mrs. A. W. David of 400 Division Street, a friend of the family.

Orville G. Brenner, formerly of Elkhart, for 28 years head of the transportation department of the United States quartermaster's depot in Jeffersonville, Ind., died at the home, 527 East Maple St., Jeffersonville, Thursday, June 16.
Mr. Brenner was a native of Berrien Center, Mich. He went to the Jeffersonville depot as a clerk in 1898 during the Spanish war. Several years ago Col. John Cable, depot commander, described him as "the hardest man to get along without in the depot employ."
Survivors are the widow, Mrs. Cecil Reynolds Brenner: the mother, Mrs. Clara Brenner and a sister, Miss Olive G. Brenner. Mr. Brenner was a member of the Modern Woodmen of the World and vice-president of the Fidelity Adjustment Company of Louisville.
Funeral services were held June 19.
