Rites Friday
GALLIPOLIS - Okey Johnson Mollohan, 81, died Thursday at 12:03 a.m. at Holzer Hospital, after an illness of about two years.
His home was in Ashland, Ky., but since the death of his wife he has been living with the children and recently at the home of a son, Everette Mollohan, Addison.
Mr. Mollohan was born July 1, 1871, in Calhoun County, W.Va., his parents being Terry Mollohan and Rebecca Boone. Children surviving are: Everette, Addison; Charles, Addison; W.P. Mollohan, Dunbar, W.Va.; Rebecca Patton, Ashland, Ky.; Mrs. Nellie Branham, Charleston; Ruby Painter, Columbus; and Mrs. Hally Michlar, Cleveland.
Friends may call Thursday evening at the Miller funeral home. Services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Baptist Church, Ashland, Ky. Burial will be in Hoods Creek Cemetery, Boyd County, Ky.
