Our beloved, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather passed away on May 13, 1999 in Salt Lake City, UT.
Born in Salt Lake City on April 8, 1929 to Oliver and Ada Larsen. Married Lois Beth Sessions on June 3, 1939 in Salt Lake City, Ut. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Retired from Union Pacific Railroad in 1983. He served in the Armed Forces in World War II. He always loved serving others, like fixing cars for family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Beth; daughter, Dianna Gerald Golding; David (Vicky), Arkansas; Robert, Salt Lake City, UT; 13 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jack Larsen and Ray Larsen, Nevada. Preceded in death by two sons, Lloyd Dean, Lee Oliver; and a daughter, Cecile Lynn; and one brother, Robert Larsen.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 18, 1999 at 11 a.m. at Deseret Mortuary, 36 East 700 So., Salt Lake City, UT., where friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Monday, May 17, 1999 and one hour prior to Service. Interment, Valley View Cemetery, 4391 West 4100 So., West Valley City, UT. 84120.
