Denice L. Wagner, 53, Lakeview Drive, Lititz, unexpectedly entered into her eternal rest Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011. She was the loving wife of Jeffrey E. Wagner and they celebrated 27 years of marriage in October. She was born in Reading, a daughter of Carl T. and Kathleen V. (Richards) Wert, Mohnton.

A graduate of Gov. Mifflin High School, class of 1975, Denice went on to graduate from Millersville University with a BSE in elementary/special education. As she began her teaching career, Denice taught for four years at Vineland State School, Vineland, N.J., and later was a substitute teacher with the Warwick School District.

A member of Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, Denice was a Sunday school teacher, director of the Bible school and in the church choir. On the board of directors for the Lititz Meals On Wheels, Denice enjoyed knitting, was an avid reader and liked scrapbooking, puzzles, walking and sporting events. She was an officer in the basketball parents organization and scorekeeper for baseball/basketball.

Her family was her passion and her joy. Denice always had a kindness for all and was a beacon of inspiration for all that knew her.

Surviving, in addition to her husband and parents, are two sons, Eric S. Wagner, North Brunswick, N.J., and Jason R. Wagner, Lititz; a brother, Timothy A. Wert, Ashley, Pa.; mother and father-in-law, Judy A. (Larry E.) Wagner, Lititz; and sister-in-law, Linda Lee (Randal) Yost, Lititz.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Denice's Life Celebration Funeral Service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22, at Trinity Evangelical Congregational Church, 44 E. Orange St., Lititz, PA 17543, with the Rev. Harry T. Dow officiating. Burial will be in the New Evangelical Cemetery. Friends may call Friday evening from 6 to 9 at the church as well as Saturday morning from 10 to 11.

If desired, memorial contributions may be made in Denice's memory to Trinity EC Church.
