He is missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Morris Dennis and Ruby D. Dennis.
Survivors included his wife, Shelia Marie Dennis,one daughter, Crystal Lynn Dennis, two sons, Dustin Howard Dennis and Daniel Lee Dennis. One sister, Ruby Dianne Dennis,three brothers, Gary Dennis, James H.Dennis and Danny K. Dennis (Debra). Grandparents, Cora and Tilley Driver. Pallbearers were Lonnie(Dodger)Powell, Duke(Bootlegger)Johnson, Wayne(Homeboy)Johnson,Bobby (Toucan) Shaw, Ocie W.(Sheetshaker) Emfinger,and David (Lock jaw) Powell.
Rodney was driving his tractor trailer truck after leaving our home in Birmingham, Al. and was hit head on by another tractor trailer on a two lane road in Millbrook Al. It was never determined why both trucks were in the center of the road as both drivers died.
He is buried directly across the road from Hank Williams.
