Wilfred Leroy Barnett was born in Hollow, Oklahoma, to parents Deloss and Stella (Neal) Barnett on May 6, 1918.
He served as a paratrooper in the United States Army in WWII.
Wilfred, known by many of his friends as "Barney" was a long haul logging trucker. It was his own trucking business.
He passed away in Beaverton, Oregon on January 14, 2011.
Survivors include his wife Sue; sons Richard, Larry and Douglas Barnett.
A public viewing will take place on Thursday, January 20, 2011 in Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel from 11AM to 1PM. A Funeral Service in Skyline Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel will take place at 1PM, on Thursday, January 20, 2011 followed by a fellowship and reception.
