Sarah Agnes Holbert Cornwell age 65, of Noble, Georgia went to be with her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday-February 17, 2005. She was born in Gordon County to the late: Ernest Buford & Pearl Keener Holbert and was also preceded in death by her brother: Bill Holbert. She was a resident of Noble for the past 15 years where she was a member of Center Point Baptist Church. She had worked for the Walker County Clerk of Courts office for the past 9 years. She is survived by her Husband: Dr.Charles Cornwell, Jr., Sons & Daughters-In-Law: Kevin & Angie Cornwell of Taylorsville, Georgia, Chad & Lynn Cornwell of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, Grandchildren: Morgan, Drew and Falon Cornwell, Sister: Sue Holbert of Calhoun, Georgia, Brothers: Cicero Holbert of Calhoun, Georgia, Tommy Holbert of Kingsport, Tennessee, several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at our LaFayette Chapel, Friday and Saturday from 4-9:00 P.M. and Sunday morning prior to the service. Funeral services will be held at Center Point Baptist Church at 3:00 P.M. with Reverend: James Braddy, Dr. Eddy Rushing and Dr. Gary Parris officiating. Private burial will be held at Chandler Cemetery in Calhoun, Georgia. Arrangements by Wilson Funeral Home - LaFayette, Georgia.
